Overview

Everest Panorama is the perfect trek for those who are not that enthusiastic about altitude but still want to witness the majestic beauty of Himalaya and for those who also do not have enough time in Nepal to do a longer trek. It is not as tough and also relatively shorter which makes it the best way for beginners to discover Himalaya. This is a culturally rich trek along the Everest region. You will pass long Tengboche Monastery at 3850m; this is an experience of piousness you seldom get to feel. Even though this trek remains low on altitude, it takes you to scenic journeys of mountain vistas including that of Everest (8848m), AmaDablam (6,812m, it is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world), Lhotse (8516m), Thamserku and various other snow giants of the Himalaya. You get a scenic as well as thecultural look in the Everest region. If you want first to feel the nerves of Himalaya before you go big with base camps and summits, nothing is more perfect than Everest panorama trek.

Major attractions in Everest Panorama trek:

The trek begins at Lukla like any other Everest region based trek. Namche Bazaar, which is the gateway to Everest, is one of the major attractions, it is a market that sells clothes, salt, yak meat, medicinal herbs to souvenirs, itis surrounded by snow-capped mountains which makes the hustle bustle in Namche Bazaar almost poetic. Tengboche Monastery is another major attraction. At approximately 4000m you witness the Buddhist ways of worshipping, the peace that comes along and the architecturally splendid monastery itself, everything is perfect there. Observing Himalayan landscapes and faces of world famous mountains like Lhotse, Everest, Nuptse, AmaDablam, etc is another major attraction.

Best season:

Autumn or as American folks call it ‘fall’, and spring are the best seasons of course. From September to December and March to May, it is sunny and warm during days so you can expect better views. However, as this trek does not up very high, you can do it in almost any other season if you wished, with an experienced guide and porters you will be safe.

P.S: P.S: if you have any concerns regarding the safety of the trekking routes post the Earthquake that hit Nepal in 2015/4/25, be assured, Everest region was supervised and marked safe to re-open by Government officials.
