Shivpuri is the ninth national park in Nepal and established in 2002. It is located in the country’s mid-hills on the northern fringe of the Kathmandu Valley and named after Shivpuri Peak of 2,732 m (8,963 fits) altitude.

It covers an area of 159 km2 (61 square m) in the districts of Kathmandu, Nuwakot and Sindhupalchok adjoining 23 Village Development Committees. The hiking to the Shivpuri is exciting moments and the beautiful view of Lang tang Himalayan range, wonderful nature, and alluring Kathmandu view. During hiking to Shivpuri we see the origin of Bagmati River. Especially your hiking to Shivpuri begins in the morning. The Shivpuri hill is in the 2732m elevation from the sea level.

8 am: hike starts for shivapuri hill (2740 m of elevation).
11.30am: reach to the shivapuri peak
12 pm: packing luch
till 2 pm exploration around
2 pm way back to nagi gumba
4 pm: back to the hotel
